"I would like to formally introduce myself to those of you who do not know me and are seeking more information about our practice. I was born and raised in Marshfield, WI and following graduation from high school, I attended the University of Minnesota in the Twin Cities. I completed my Bachelor of Science degree in 3 years and was admitted into the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 2001. Upon completion of my coursework at the School of Dentistry in 2005, I returned to my hometown of Marshfield to join my father's dental practice. Shortly thereafter, I married my beautiful wife, Jessica. In June of 2010, my wife and I had the opportunity to relocate to Eau Claire and purchase the dental practice of Dr. Tom Statz. I am truly thrilled to be a part of the Eau Claire community and fully enjoy working with the outstanding patients of my practice. In my leisure time, I enjoy golfing, watching sports, and spending time on the lake with family and friends. I am passionate about dentistry and strive to provide the highest quality of care possible. I look forward to meeting you and your family at your next visit to our practice!"

About Jessica Martin

"It is a pleasure to assist with marketing, personal relations, and with general office functions for Martin Dental. I am a DPI certified school psychologist, have a certification in school counseling, an administrative license in special education, as well as a private practice school psychology license. When Tony and I got married, it was never our intention to merge careers, however, we have found that our areas of expertise compliment one another and our collective ideas have resulted in a revolutionary dental office that provides our patients the opportunity to receive a more enjoyable dental experience. It turns out there is a great deal of psychology in dentistry, hence the transformation from the traditional dental office to the dental spa! I love seeing people enjoy coming to the dentist and helping them obtain care they may have put off for years due to anxious feelings. Martin Dental has grown into such a wonderful practice that I am so proud to be a part of. We have the nicest patients and the staff are exceptional at what they do! In my free time, I enjoy reading, being outdoors, and spending time with family and friends."

"Originally from Decorah Iowa, I moved here in 2012 to start a new adventure and have fallen in love with Eau Claire. What I love most about working at Martin Dental is being able to work with an amazing group of talented people on a daily basis and building relationships with each of our patients. I am truly blessed to be a part of the Martin Dental team and look forward to the many years to come.

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my amazing husband Kyle who is a busy bee always building something around our home and making our dreams come true. Our young son Keegan who is the light of our life is always keeping us on our toes and brings us so much happiness. We have 3 fur babies, our cat Bear and two dogs Rex and Thunder who bring lots of joy and hair to our lives. I also enjoy gardening, grill outs, and evenings around a fire. "

"Hi everyone, I'm LeAnn. If you are not familiar with me yet, you will be soon as I will be one of the first friendly faces to welcome you to your relaxing spa dental experience. A place you can trust to put your concerns at ease and make a plan that works for you. To be honest, that is what drew me to make the change from corporate dental to a private practice, where patient care comes first.

Here's a little bit about me. I was born and raised in Chippewa Falls. I attended UWEC and after graduating with an Environmental and Public Health major, I moved to Eau Claire and bought my first home with my now wife of 11 years, Jana. We are currently still residing on the west side of Eau Claire with our two dogs, Charley (who we adopted) and Nattie (who we brought home from a wedding.) In our free time, you will find Jana working meticulously on her yard while I "supervise" from our deck. We do also love to travel, with Colorado having a little piece of my heart.

"I graduated from the Dental Hygiene Program at Chippewa Valley Technical College on 2001, where I also received certification to practice local anesthesia. I was also presented with an award for “Outstanding Student” of my graduating class. I have been working with this dental practice since graduation and have appreciated all of the technological advancements Dr. Martin has brought to the practice. I have attended and continue to enjoy many seminars to increase my level of care for our patients. My goal every day is to take my passion and knowledge for dental hygiene and apply it to patients of all ages to assist them in improving their oral health, thus making a positive change for their general health. My personal challenge is to get to know each and every patient individually to make their visit comfortable and enjoyable.

When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my boyfriend, Ryan, boating, camping, sprint-car racing and with our dogs Buster and Chloe.
I have two children in college that I am very proud of and continue to support and encourage them to be the best they can be.
Hannah is pursuing a career as a nurse anesthetist and Jeremy is a member of the Army National Guard while pursuing a career in engineering. "

About Melissa

"As a child, when asked what I wanted to be when I grew up, I never responded with a typical child's answer like teacher, doctor, nurse, etc. For as long as I can remember my answer to that question was "Dental Hygienist". Once I graduated high school, I began working towards that goal. I began my journey in the dental field as a Dental Assistant. After a few years of assisting, I returned to school to get my Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene. I have now been in dentistry for over 20 years!

Prior to joining the Martin Dental team I worked as a traveling hygienist, filling in at various dental practices across the state. While traveling gave me many opportunities to learn various new things, such as different instruments and various technology, I lost the chance to form lasting relationships with co-workers and, most importantly, my patients. One of the top things I am excited for is getting back to having those lasting relationships, learning more about my patients, their lives and what I can do to help them improve and maintain their health.

Outside of work I spend most of my time either working in my wood shop on various different projects or hanging out with my husband, son and dog. As a family we love to spend time together making lasting memories. We most enjoy traveling, camping, and going for motorcycle and 4 wheeler rides together. "

About Ciara

Hello, I’m Ciara. I graduated from the Dental Hygiene Program at Rochester Community Tech College in 2015 with my certificate to administer nitrous and local anesthetic. I grew up in the small town of Mondovi, WI and recently just moved back to Mondovi on our little hobby farm. I love that Martin Dental treats every patient like they are family and has a small-town feel with their patients and community. Previously I worked as a CNA for over 7 years and feel like my strength and purpose is to take care of others. My husband CJ and I have 3 kids. We are extremely active in sports and my husband coaches the varsity baseball team at Eleva-Strum. We also love spending time on our hobby farm with our 3 goats, 2 dogs, and 3 cats. I don’t have any spare time, but if I did, I would enjoy traveling, shopping, fishing, or any warm weather outdoor activity. I look forward to meeting you and making your next dental visit a spectacular one!
